Vintage Registry CLOSED

Hey Everyone! This is Ash checking in, 1 week and 4 days before our wedding! We have been busy making homemade soda (hopefully it turns out!), collecting our vintage dishes for you to eat off of, and getting the grounds reading for the big day! Tons of props to all our family and many of you for lending so many helping hands- you guys are the greatest and we couldn't be doing all this without you.

Just a quick update that the HOMEMADE VINTAGE REGISTRY IS NOW CLOSED. A big thank you to everyone who bought things from it- this was a new idea and its awesome that everything was bought! Thanks for being willing to try something new and feel free to stop in sometime to see how your item is decorating our home!

Let the countdown continue! We seriously can't wait to worship, eat, and dance the night away with all of our favorite people in the world!

Pray for no rain!!!!!! :)

We are getting there!!

Ladies and Gentleman... today, August 1st, marks a very special day in Ash and my life......... IT'S THE 2 MONTH MARK BEFORE OUR WEDDING!!!

We couldn't be more excited, well we could be...if it was 2 DAYS before the wedding!! But we have been truly blessed over these 6 months in our planning and we are just so happy and pleased with the way everything has been going and thankful for all the friends and family that have been able to help out!

Some UPDATES:

We have our registries all set up. We are registered at Macys as well as Pottery Barn (as well as accepting gift cards to each) and we have something new and fun that many people may not have seen before. Ash and I have our own "created" vintage registry.  Allow me to take a minute to inform you about our idea...

Ash and I are really into the vintage, bohemian, recycled feel of things and we want to have these things in our home. It's hard to ask people just buy just the right antique item for us at a thrift or antique store. So we came up with this idea of pre-purchasing the items we would use and have created our own online registry.  For some ideas of what we have, you can find the items and their prices here and they will all be available for purchase on a first-come first-serve basis on August 13th at the Wilwert home at 49 Narothyn Road, Sellersville PA 18960. We also have some "Wedding Workdays" coming up over the next few weeks when we'll need some extra help getting things ready for our big day. So if you're intrested in helping out, let one of us know and we'll give you the details.

We couldn't be more happy and excited to share our special day (and all the days leading up to the wedding) with everyone! If there are any questions, please feel free to email us at dadoran1001@gmail.com and we will get back to you!!

Introducing.... THE NEWEST LINK!

We just finished setting up our engagement photo page on Shutterfly! We added the photos that we currently have BUT..... MORE will be added this weekend cause our photographer (Rebekah Pillmore) just finished the rest! So we will get them this weekend and add them to the mixture. So check back for new ones to be added!

In addition to the engagement photos on the Shutterfly site, we also added some other pages that you can view from: an events page (info to be added later) a guestbook (let us know whatcha thought and that you stopped by) and a volunteer's page (let us know if you wanna help out with something specific or if you just are looking to throw in a hand where needed!)

In the engagement photos section, we added a little about our photographer! We are so excited for her to be there snapping photos of us on our special day! We wanted to introduce her and throw her name out there as well as her site. So check her out (the link to her site is there)

AND this weeks poll is just about over so cast your votes if you haven't already and come back to see the answer as well as a NEW poll for next week!

Weekly Fun!

Hey! So you got to read some little things about us that we wanted to share, now it's your turn to pick what YOU know (or think you know) about US! Each week leading up to the wedding, we will have a new poll on the side tool bar.  We will put a question with a few potential answers up and you pick which one you believe to be correct. At the end of the week we will post the correct answer! Have fun!!

About us!!

What Ash wants everyone to know about D-Man:

Hmm...let's see...I met Dustin at a 5k in June of 2010. A big THANKS to his cousins for setting that up! ;) He won 1st place and I acted unimpressed. But in truth, I was drawn right in by his laid-back, fun-loving personality. We connected right away and I quickly learned about his many interests- his love for painting, Jack's Mannequin and Frank Sinatra, PASTA, running and healthy living, his family, outdoor adventures, his Chuck Taylors, chocolate milk in cereal, Rocky his Kawasaki, hammocks, and most refreshing to me- his simple, genuine desire to let the fire of Jesus burn in his heart and life. God uses Dustin to keep me grounded- he is my rock and I love him. I am more then blessed to become his wife.

What Dustin wants everyone to know about Ash:

Well... Ash and I met at a race in Green Lane that my cousins asked me to run at. I instantly thought she was the cream of the crop! We hit it off well, even though my cousins told me I had no shot, I pursued her! Even though every time I called her and she wouldn't answer... but would text me 5 min later, it made me more interested.  She asked me to help out with Judgement House. The more we talked I played a "ladder" game with her... "so Ash, if this ladder was our relationship, bottom rung being just friends (never a chance of being a couple) and top of the ladder us being married, where would you put us?" This carried through and into my married proposal to her! Through this time I have learned so many things that make me love Ash. She is OBSESSED with Earl Grey tea (I get jealous sometimes) She rocks Asics for her running shoes.  She plays Blessed Be Your Name like no other!!! She definitely played hard to get.  She digs Frank Sinatra. Ash is a wine snob- that's the way I like it! She dumped me off the back of her snow mobile the first ride she gave me... down a snow-covered hill of rocks. She shares the dream of running in the Boston Marathon with me. Loves anything/everything vintage.  Ash wouldn't be my date when a bunch of us went to Dorney Park, even though I paid for her... my cousin Ally was my date instead. (thanks Al) Believes in us/me 110%. She has the most amazing faith, it's truly breathe-taking. She has an awesome smile with a laugh to match. Keeps a tiddy room :/ Ash loves adventure. She's a huge family girl. Ashley is such a blessing from God... I can't believe we get to walk through life together hand in hand!!
